This was my project bike for a few years, though a bit small for me. Here's a summary of the modifications:
New Exhaust Tips: Replaced the original rusted-off ones with louder alternatives. Packed with steel wool to reduce volume and address off-idle dead spots caused by the new exhausts.
Respray in Black: Cleaned off rust and tarnishes, then resprayed with high-temp enamel paint.
Swing Arm Number Plate Holder: Removed the mudguard and number plate holder, designed a bracket to secure the number plate overhanging the rear wheel. Includes a number plate light and a reflector for ADR compliance.
LED Indicator and Brake Light Replacement: Upgraded from incandescent to 3-in-1 LED brake, indicator, and running lights.
New Gel Battery and Battery Box: Replaced the battery and revamped the box. Fabricated a new housing mounted under the seat, improving the bike's side profile.
Bar End Mirrors: Added for a finishing touch.
Overall, pleased with the bike's outcome. Sold it to fund a Eurotrip #noragrets.
