RIPPLES PAPERWEIGHT

This beautiful paper weight is truly one of a kind. The unique surface has been designed using surface modelling to imitate the ripples formed in water when the surface is disturbed. Although transient in water, that motion has been solidified in this aluminium piece of art.
 
Weighing close to 200grams, this beautiful piece has been CNC machined from a solid billet of 5083 Aluminium billet. The surface has been brushed and polished and beautifully reflects any light on the surface. You will be mesmerised by the reflective waves as the light hits the surface differently on varying angles.
